Avoiding just ONE of these 7 mistakes and you will become even more successful

Mistake # 1: lack of gratitude state

Quote from Anthony Robbins – “When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.”

Gratitude shifts your focus,  Whatever we focus on, we move towards. When you focus on things that you’re grateful for; you will start to experience that you have abundance and it attracts more of whatever you’re grateful for.

Also, studies have confirmed that being grateful makes you feel happy and gives you peace of mind.

Gratitude can transform your life by strengthening and enhancing your faith and It encourages you to reach your goals.

Here are 7 Scientifically Proven Benefits of Gratitude

  1. Gratitude opens the door to more relationships. (Not only does saying “thank you” constitute good manners, but showing appreciation can help you win new friends)
  2. Gratitude improves physical health. (Grateful people experience fewer aches and pains and report feeling healthier than other people)
  3. Gratitude improves psychological health. (Gratitude reduces a multitude of toxic emotions, from envy and resentment to frustration and regret)
  4. Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression (Grateful people are more likely to behave in a prosocial manner, even when others behave less kindly)
  5. Grateful people sleep better. (Writing in a gratitude journal improves sleep)
  6. Gratitude improves self-esteem. (gratitude reduces social comparisons. Rather than becoming resentful toward people who have more money or better jobs—a major factor in reduced self-esteem—grateful people are able to appreciate other people’s accomplishments.)
  7. Gratitude increases mental strength (For years, research has shown gratitude not only reduces stress, but it may also play a major role in overcoming trauma.)

Mistake #2 – Not following your intuition

Quote from Sonia Choquette – “Intuition doesn’t tell you what you want to hear; it tells you what you need to hear.”

Trusting your intuition will get yourself out of trouble. The more you develop your gut instinct, the better you will feel about yourself and the better you will be at trusting your gut. Soon, you will never second guess yourself! You are the only you; so recognize your inner voice and trust in your Intuition.

Many scientists and researchers are now referring to intuition as the highest form of intelligence we possess.  In other words, intuition is no longer limited to the new age world or magical thought; it is increasingly being seen as a legitimate way to make judgments and decisions.

Mistake #3 – Learning instead of doing

Quote from Richard Branson – “You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing, and by falling over.”

Getting stuck in learning mode will get you nowhere. In our information era, most people spend 90% learning and 10% doing, in order to see massive growth you need to flip this around and be 90% doing and 10% learning.

Everybody has access to pretty much all the information in the world. Google and YouTube will give you any information you need nearly instantly.

If you collect information without using it you’re only going to be frustrated.

Knowledge is power but what is the point of learning, if it does not change the way you act, think or live your life. Realize that you don’t always have to know everything all the time. Knowledge is power even if you don’t possess it in your own mind. You can build on the work done by others and don’t have to reinvent the wheel. You can also intelligently direct people who possess the knowledge you need, to achieve what you want. When you do acquire knowledge or learn something new, keep in mind that knowledge is power only when you apply it.

Mistake #4 – huge to-do list

Quote from Patti Digh – “Sometimes our stop-doing list needs to be bigger than our to-do list.”

To-do lists allow us to avoid the important.

Instead of writing down dozens of tasks that you need to get done each day… choose one that must get done and will deliver the most impact.

Long hours spent checking off a to-do list and ending the day with a full trash can and a clean desk are not virtuous and have nothing to do with success. Instead of a to-do list, you need a success list — a list that is purposefully created around extraordinary results.

Mistake #5 – No Prioritizing Health

Quote from Hippocrates – “Let food be the medicine and medicine be the food.”

You see Health is not valued till sickness comes.

Without good health, our bodies lack the energy and enthusiasm needed to do the things we love most so make sure to take care of yourself and your health if you’re serious about conquering your goals.

Health is Wealth, If you feel great, you are able to wake up everyday and do the things you need and want to do. Maybe that’s going to work, or taking care of your kids or travel. If you’re feeling sick, dealing with chronic illness, addiction or pain, you cannot do these things. Or perhaps you can, but not without sacrifice. Health is never something to be taken for granted and absolutely should be one of our top priorities in life.

Mistake #6 – Watching Porn

Quote from Anonymous – “if you learn self-control, you can master anything.”

Here are 4 reasons Why You Should Stop Watching Porn

  1. It Causes Depression
  2.  It Weakens Willpower
  3.  It Destroys Productivity
  4. It Lowers Your Motivation

When you stop watching porn and you stop giving yourself instant gratification from the pleasure of orgasm with a few mouse clicks well then you actually have to go out into the world and do something valuable to get the same pleasurable feelings.

Whether you’re male or female, when you stop watching porn and pleasuring yourself for nothing you then will elevate your value to attract real partners and this causes you to become successful.

Mistake #7 – Watching TV

Quote from Bill Hicks – “Watching television is like taking black spray paint to your third eye.”

It’s pretty obvious that when you’re watching TV you’re not doing anything else. Time spent watching television is wasting time.

Every hour you spend in front of the TV is another hour you’re not making the most of your life. You could be playing with your family, hanging out with friends or doing an activity you enjoy. Connection is one of the basic human needs we all have and it will never be fulfilled by your television set.

Programming Yourself with Negativity

Just about every television show, from comedies to drama to reality TV and the news, is negative. If you look at almost any TV show there is a complete lack of positive redeeming messages. While there are exceptions to this rule they are few and far between.

TV Poisons Your Belief Systems

In comedies, we laugh at the stupid/overweight/socially awkward/racial stereotype/different people. The news is filled with stories of pain/suffering/disaster/death, and arguing and drama has to be about problems in order to create the drama. All of this is affecting your outlook on life and the way you see the world.

It Creates Unrealistic Expectations

Television distorts our understanding of reality. It’s filled with beautiful people doing amazing things and having great adventures every show. Ask any TV or movie star with half a brain and they’ll tell you that the images you see of them on the screen and magazine covers are completely fake.

Feelings of Inadequacy

Life is never going to be like a TV show and this can make people very disillusioned when they compare it with their real life. The messages within television imply on a regular basis that we’re not pretty/smart/funny enough. Our lives can feel quite empty when compared to the perfection of the TV world.

Subliminal Programming and Advertising

Make no mistake that there is only one reason why television exists, and that is to sell products. No one is producing TV shows because they want to create great art. Every single part of every single TV program is designed to keep you in front of the TV and prepped to buy the advertised products through traditional advertising or product placements.

Television is designed to make you feel bad so you will buy products that make you feel better. It’s the ultimate in mind control systems. Companies figured out how to get us to voluntarily brainwash ourselves for their benefit.

It Degrades Your Self Control and Discipline

Thanks to the incredible psychological hooks that television uses, it’s very hard to stop watching it. We lose our self-control and cannot turn off the television even though we may want to. As this continues, our self-control and discipline decrease even further and the harder the battle becomes.
