When you think about doing something important your brain is very talented in finding excuses.

Here is what it normally does:

  1. Think
  2. Think again
  3. Find an excuse or something else to do

When you do this you are wasting brain energy and time because you are thinking twice, also wasting time to think again about it later on and this can go for days, months causing brain fog and sometimes the important stuff never gets done.

This approach wasted so much of my time and will waste yours if you don’t change this bad habit with this new one:

  1. Think
  2. Do it right away (or add to calendar right away)

If you add more then 5 seconds between thinking and doing it your brain will start to find some kind of excuse.
